El Diente (14,159') and Mt Sneffels (14,150')

This past weekend, my buddy Alan B. and I decided to see if we could add a few more summits to our list of 14ers. When the weekend came to a close, El Diente and Mt Sneffles were checked off the list!!! This was the couloir we chose to climb to gain the ridge on El Diente.
As you can see, the slope was pretty steep (approx. 45-50 degrees) definitely requiring crampons and a mountaineering axe.
Us at the summit.
Here is our summit pic on Mt Sneffels.
This was the couloir we chose to down climb.
A well deserved rest after a great weekend with a great climbing partner!!!

Here are our trip reports my buddy Alan posted on 14ers.com....

Thanks again for a GREAT weekend of climbing. We make a good team when the hard climbing comes around. The pictures look good, I'll send mine your way, be sure and do the same..
